I just thought I would show you a little trick I learned today.

I cant remember who told me this but it might have been Larry Kotlow.

This 400 micron tip was broken by my assistant accidentally (she is new) and I wanted to try and save it.

I used a very tiny scalpel blade and the scope.

I cut about 1/2 of the teflon back from the tip (you cant cut much more or the tip wont be stable), and shaved it away from the tip itself.

You need some mag to do this, then I polished the tip which was pretty square before hand to reuse it again.

Hope it helps some of you with Delight Tips that are broken.

Again this only works with the 400 micron tips where there is an extended bit of teflon to cut away. You need high mag in my opinion and a very tiny sharp blade.

    PS ….be careful.

    Glenn
