Charley missed us but Ms. Frances slapped our face in Tampa Bay! Electricity off 14 hours at my house. Lots of minor/moderate damage but looks like everyone will be OK.

Neighbor’s tree ripped off his powerline and knocked down the fence between our homes. Note my downed cable TV and Internet connection line in upper right of photo – still works like a charm!:

Typical tree problem in Clearwater today:

All in all not too bad. Spent five hours on the holiday “Laboring” to pick up debris at office and home. Some water in office but we’ll be up and running tomorrow morning!!!

Now we get ready for Ivan;)

Hi Al,

Glad to know you are fine and the damages are minimal.
I notice that your dog house has a gas tank. What gives? Is your pooch into sniffing gas or arson?

Or do you even have a dog?

Ha ha Andrew you are quite observant. The kennel is no longer in use but leftover from an earlier period when I had two rather unruly males. Doghouse makes a great place to store flammable liquids!!!!!

Nancy, my angelic 4yo female golden retriever lives in the house!!!!
