This patient came in as an emergency two weeks ago. Nothing earth shattering, jist a little dead bone. Could have been treated without the laser, but what the heck!
tratment took a few seconds and patient was quite pleased.

Great case Robert, here is a similar case I treated a on July 24, 2003 (looked at the date on the file) with the Erbium Yag. These bone spicules can be removed without anesthetic and the water flushes them out and sterilizes the area. Works great on those that show up after extractions and often on the lower they come through the lingual cortical plate rubbing the tongue!!

What a great service for your patient Robert and nice pics ……CLAP CLAP CLAP.

do you just run the tip over the affected area?

Actually in these cases if the problem is a sequestrum I think the water flow combined with the ablation of soft tissue releases the offending sequestrum. I actually started defocussed and then brought it closer to the area and ended up in a circular motion opening up the area where the sequestrum was protruding out.

    Hope that helps
