I am in need of some assistance with this diagnosis and since I know there are so many quality people on LDF I figured I’d ask you guys and gals.
This 10 year old girl presented to me today with these two reddish desquamative areas in her mucosa above #8 and #10. She is in perfect health and has no habits like placing objects in her mouth. They are slightly tender and the mother is concerned. I saw her last year and she had similar lesions above 8 , 9 and 10. I treated them as I would an aphthous ulcer at the time. (.25W 11A)The mother says they really have not changed (except that #9 is no longer present). Anyone have any thoughts on this?
    Thanks

Lightly blow air on them and tell me if anything happens.
