AnonymousGuestReceived this today-
Greetings Waterlase owners.
I wanted to introduce an exciting idea brought to my attention by a couple of relatively new Waterlase owners, an idea to develop a forum of Waterlase users here in Michigan to share ideas for using their Waterlase. This forum will NOT be political rather, this forum is designed to help each of you increase your confidence using your Waterlase and ultimately, help you shorten your learning curve.
Dr. Daryl Moseley, has graciously agreed to spearhead this forum. Please contact Dr. Moseley via email ONLY at DFMDDS@hotmail.com to express your interest in participating in this forum. Dr. Moseley will in turn, communicate all issues, including success stories to those Waterlase owners expressing an interest in participating.
For the continued success of spreading the news about “No Pain Dentistry”, please plan to participate by sharing your thoughts and ideas. I look forward to hearing all of the successes this forum will undoubtedly provide.
Have a great day and continued great lasing to each of you!
Kind Regards,*** *****

AnonymousGuestAs many of you have already seen, the web host had their server and backup drive crash. About a months worth of posts were lost from a couple forums and some of the stats are incorrect because of the restoration process. If you notice any problems (other than missing posts from the last month) please email me at drschalter@drschalter.com.
Guess I really can’t retire from this yet
Sorry for the inconvienence,
Glenn van AsSpectatorThanks for keeping it up and going and dont worry , I always know where one of my first two sites is first thing in the morning……….and guess what ……..
It wont be the Waterlase forum………hmmmm.
Glenn
BenchwmerSpectatorRon,
I always thought this was “THE WATERLASE” Forum.
Jeff
kellyjblodgettdmdSpectatorHey, Ron. Nothing like someone re-inventing the wheel. Any laser dentist who hasn’t already been to this site must be living in a bubble!?! Why do we need a Waterlase-only user site? God forbid someone using a laser other that a Biolase product would have words of wisdom for those of us that do own a Waterlase. Seems silly.
Thanks for the great site, Ron.

SwpmnSpectatorQUOTERon,
I always thought this was “THE WATERLASE” Forum.
JeffDr. Cranska:
Please be aware that this is in no way a “Waterlase Forum”. The Waterlase Forum may be found below:
This particular forum(LDF) is unbiased and is comprised of dentists seeking the truth regarding laser dentistry. While it may be true that by sheer numbers Biolase has the most users, many of us own dental lasers from several different companies. Some of the forum participants here have paid their own money to receive training from Biolase, HOYA and Opus.
Last week, two of us attended a seminar given by Rusty Schaeffer of MDT. I can assure you this is NOT a Waterlase Forum.

Glenn van AsSpectatorActually what I enjoy most about this forum is the variety of PROFESSIONAL responses and brand free information that is dispensed.
I think that this forum has a university type of atmosphere to it and I commend Ron for the fantastic material that is presented here.
I hope that you wont all up and leave me here by my lonesome to go to the Waterlase forum ………
Please dont go sir…………
Glenn
kellyjblodgettdmdSpectatorAl – I think Jeff was joking (at least that felt like sarcasm!) It’s true of course, that Biolase has a huge market share, but in my mind it’s all about the proper use of light to obtain a goal. It matters very little to me the manufacturer. That’s probably why I have lasers from four different companies. I love ’em all!
Next thing you know, we’ll have our own Periolase site, too! (Or do we already? Again, sarcasm.)
Everyone have a great Tuesday!
Kelly
SwpmnSpectatorKelly:
If my previous post was mis-directed and offensive to Dr. Cranska or other forum members then I publicly apologize.
I do hope Dr. Schalter keeps this unbiased forum going for a long time.

BenchwmerSpectatorMy “Waterlase” comment is a long standing joke to Ron.
If someone posts an occlusal pit restoration with the Waterlase, hundreds of hits, replies, accolades, etc.
Post a Nd:YAG case nothing.
It is the way it is.
That is in no way a condemnation of this forum. I am an active presenter, reader and lurker of all categories.
I was one of the first to present cases on DentalTown. Been there, done that.

Actually it’s a good thing Jeff has at least 1 laser with ‘ase’ in it so he can keep posting here. 😉
BenchwmerSpectatorThanks Ron.
I hoped you’d like my ‘Lase humor.
I’m glad I’m still welcome.
