AnonymousGuestCan I add some lower incisors also?
Interesting guy, stationed in Guantanamo Bay for the last year guarding Al-Queda. Never brushes. Losing dental insurance end of year because of plant closing and end of National Guard stint.
Anyway we’ve been trying to sneak him in here and there to get some things done before he loses insurance.
27 and 26 have some Fuji 9 which seems to be holding up pretty well considering his oral hygiene.
er,cr:YSGG 2.5 W 60/30 4mm tip no anesthesia
teeth prepped and then decay removed w/ Mark’s Spoons and round burrRestoration placed (etch, one step, tetric flowable on facial, tetric ceram on incisal) probably will do some more polishing(out of time today) when we do 23 and hopefully he’ll do some brushing so we can control bleeding a little better
Good to see ya all posting cases again.
How about some newbies or lurkers jumping in with some so we can all learn some more?
2thlaserSpectatorGood Job Ron.
Andrew, as far as what teeth are easier, obviously the premolars, and anteriors are the easiest, as there is less enamel to get through, which makes it faster. However, that being said, I find all easy, as I have done so many now. We have tried a few differing tips, but so far, the larger tips just don’t deliver enough energy to speed up the process, even though their footprint may be larger. I still prefer the 600um tip for now. We are (Biolase and I) still working on perfecting the tips and seeing what works.Al, thanks for the kudos on the no charring. First of all, one won’t get char if we use low energies, and most important, I usually use the Z tips in a non contact mode, and that will ulitmately result in no charring. Thanks again!

ASISpectatorThanks for the reply Mark. I’ll have to try some on extracted teeth myself.
Nice result, Ron.
