dmd92eastSpectatorFinally decided to purchase. I knew all along I was going to, but it was just a money thing as it should be. Took the standard proficiency course for the Versawave today and I’m ready to jump in and can’t wait. The Dr. that taught the course has 9 lasers in his office of various wavelengths. He did say though that if he could only keep one of them it would be guess what?
The Periolase MVP-7. I’d have to agree there.
Nick LuizziSpectatorCongratulations!!! And in my humble opinion you got the best erbium. You will love it. And you can expense it out this year. Next year the democrats will probably take that tax break away from us.
Best regards, Nick
dmd92eastSpectatorI know that’s why the recent spending binge. Can’t wait to get it. Keep telling the staff to put patients off till it arrives. My schedules empty for the next couple of weeks.
Glenn van AsSpectatorCongrats…….be aware there is a learning curve and after the initial rush on restorative patients, concentrate on soft tissue.
Sign up for LVI or Nash next year to get some advanced training or go to Mexico ( I wont be there this year) for the training. It will help you alot.
Finally, if you have any needs at all email me at glennvanas@shaw.ca and I will try to help you out.
WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF ERBIUM LASER DENTISTRY!
Glenn
PS What magnification are you using?
Glenn
dmd92eastSpectatorSurgitel 4.5 with headlight attached. Ready to rock and roll.
Glenn van AsSpectatorThats a good starting point (GRIN)……..
Just be prepared for the learning curve, its different than the Periolase which is contact tip laser dentistry.
Much of the erbium is non contact and thats why the magnification is so important.
Congrats again,
Glenn
Nick LuizziSpectatorWhat Genn is saying is that those loops are a starting point, not the end-all. We need to start you thinking about getting into the world of microscope enhanced dentistry. It will smooth out your learning curve like a gravey sandwich. It will help you see what the erbium is doing and make you extremely effective with it. I’m happy for you. Enjoy the process. Nick
