whitertthSpectatorcalled biolase last week told them that i got a badbatch of tips so they graciously sent me out some new ones at no charge…used on the the new tips today and BOOM… first time sparks came out and then changed tip used another got the tooth done only for the fiber to conk out right at the end of the treatment…. I just dont understand why they cant stabilize the consistency of the tips……Now I got to go plead my case to the powers at be

whitertthSpectatorMark may know better but they have always had problems with bad batches of tips.. Usually u get a spark and u know here comes trouble…I hope they will be good in correcting my problem

How did you know the original set was bad? Did you discover it through the lot number?
Can a defective(from the manufacturer) tip be discerned visually with magnification?

Most of the time you can’t tell a bad tip right out of the box. I have had very few bad tips, I mean, VERY FEW. Every once in awhile, there is a batch of bad ones…I think that Biolase is trying to see if different manufacturers can keep up with their demand, pure speculation on my part, and then we get a bad batch.
They are VERY good at taking care of this problem, it just doesn’t do any good to get mad, just tell them the problem, and they will handle it. I had a bunch of tips delivered just last week, the box from FedEx was litterally CRUSHED, so far, no bad tips from it, we will see.
