    Hello everyone,
I have been asked by Pat, and others to share with you when the instruments I use (cause you all know I don’t use a handpiece too often) for microdental caries excavation are ready. Well, it’s time. You can see the beginning web site at http://www.laserdentaltools.com Right now, I am just selling sets of 11 instruments, from small pluggers ( I use packable posterior composites), to the small spoon excavators I like to use, etc. We will have available shortly single instruments as well, but for now, the whole kit is what is avail. These instruments are a private line that I had developed for myself through American Eagle Dental Instruments in Missoula, MT. They won’t sell them direct, but only through me. I love them, and those who try them, I would love some feedback. Hopefully, this will help those who love microdentistry, and make your dentistry happen with more quality, and ease. They have done that for me at least! Thanks for asking Pat. It sure was nice to meet you at Dana Point. I just wish I could’ve spent more time with you. I was swamped with others asking questions, which was good, but tiring. I am here in Las Vegas, I have to lecture tomorrow for DT. Should also be a fun meeting.
Thanks to all for a wonderful forum!
    Sincerely,
    Mark

    GREAT stuff Glenn,

Ralph Klink from Global came by yesterday to hook up my Olympus 3040 to the x-mount, only to have the camera freeze……it’s been acting up lately, and it looks like it finally died.

Training today, so next week I’m getting a Nikon 4500.  Sound OK Glenn?

Then I ought to begin photos and posting (after I get some MAJOR advice from Glenn!!!)

    Bob

PS:  I love the ear ring posts in your assistant’s ear!;)

Oh yeah, I saw Kara last night at a Collagenix lecture on Periostat.  VERY interesting stuff that it turns out low dose doxycycline does for acne, diabetes, heart disease, smokers, cancer……..pay attention to what they are doing, big stuff ahead in this arena of chemical modifyers of inflammation!

After last night, I’m calling Periostat Vitamin P!!!

Thanks Bob…….the Nikon 4500 should be good. Let me get a hold of Eric Herbranson who made the Xmount and ask him which camera he would suggest right now.

I know he was doing some work with the Canon G3 and it has a GREAT remote that can be very useful for high mags.

I like the swivel design of the 4500 and I also like the 5000 except you have to digitally zoom the photos.

There is the web site for ALOT of the information at <a href="http://www.xmount.com

    As” target=”_blank”>http://www.xmount.com

As for Kara , tell her I said hi and I miss her. Tell her to send me some information and I will try to contact her next time I am in her area.

Yeah. I thought about that and I probably should not post it on a web page. I will email the pdf instead to the interested parties. Thanks for reminding me.

Ok, try laserdentaltools.com hopefully this will get you there. Sorry for the problems, we are working on it. Worse case, type in the address in your browser and go directly there. Ron, it might be a problem in your software because the link works elsewhere. Let me know.

Hey Bob: I talked to Eric and he said the Nikon 4500 is probably the best camera at present for the scope Xmount.

Ron, even when I click on your link, you made, I cannot go to the web site. I am not sure why. We will be making individual instruments avail shortly, but only the whole kits are avail at the moment. I have been getting many requests for the spoons only, so we will probably package them that way, but we have to see how the production schedule works out. I am here at Dental Town lecturing this weekend, and the interest has been phenomenal! What a rush! Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Thanks Ron. As far as the individual instrument availability, I am checking into that possibility this week and will let you know. I really don’t think that will pose a problem, we just have to work it out with AE. Thanks for fixing the problem!
