    Val,
I usually use 30 minute tray bleaching (Colgate).
For a single tooth or special case, I use rubber dam, a mixed gel or powder/liquid inoffice whitening (Shofu)
Use NdYAG defocused as the heat source , 3 times.
Takes too long for everyday full mouth bleaching.

I’m grasping at straws to help this woman, and on the way through the discussion, began to wonder if anyone has tried to extract teeth on a patient with a long history of IV bisphosphonate therapy using the laser as a means to not traumatize the bone?

Am I daffy wondering about this? There are 3 teeth that would be removed, 2 molars and a bicuspid….all mandibular.

    Thanks

Do you touch the fiber to the tooth? How long should you do it for?

in reply to: Re: Dentin Etch? #13502

That is in the bootcamp notebooks. I don’t have the procedure memorized, sorry.

    Al,

It’s best done with a 300 micron fiber and up to 3.00 watts at 10Hz and 100Usec. It’s done in contact.

The curriculum will depend on requests. The curriculum is live patient treatment. What would you all want to see and do?

The didactic is not live patient.

As far as the fee goes, it costs a lot of money, resources and personnel to conduct training with live patients that you don’t bring your self, feed, lodge, and perform follow-ups on. Malpractice liability coverage and 3 Instructors per student. We can reduce as desired.
