    Chuck,

You make it sound so easy. If so, then why does my insurance person spends several hours a week helping your people submit claims. ALso, we can’t even submit slaims b/c since May 10, there seems to be something wrong with your system that won’t allow access. And as usuall, when we call STEVE, or anyone else, they don’t return our calls. Your customer service is horrible, your support even worse, and our patients have not benefitted from the service. In addition, if we had been told by Mark Freeman at the start that all insurance companies are not billed, we would not have subscribed to your service, as Paramount is a big one in OHio.

I also am curious: I “heard” that as your clientele began to grow, the amanagers wanted access to patient accounts and once it was granted, they found ” payments flooding in to accounts not even active, missing EOB’s, insufficient protocols for follow up on claims. When managers adn sales reps brought their issues up, they were locked out of access to patient accounts. they were asked to “cease any and all communication with clients regardign IPS”. Why is this> How can a company operate efficiently with it’s clients if tyou won’t allow the people who want to help access to the accounts?

Shawn, don’t hold your breath waiting for a response from Chuck. We will have to wait quivering in anticipation for another several weeks before he can come back and tell us that it is OUR fault that IPS does not work for us as they claim.

I just want my money back. They took &#364500 for something that has been completely useless to me.

I guess the bottom line must be that I and my staff are so incompetent and lazy that we cannot figure out this easy and successful software system of IPS. Wow…..I had no idea I was such a screwup!

Oh, I understand what IPS is all about. &#36&#36&#36&#36&#36&#36 ONe happy customer, now tell me how many have called and asked for a refund b/c they aren’t happy. Don’t say we’re the only ones b/c I KNOW of several for sure. Funny you didn’t address my last post.

    Shawn,

I see what the problem is here. Apparently not only is my staff not intelligent or motivated enough to utilize the software, BUT, we also do not care for our patients.

Ok, it is so much clearer now. You know what I like – rediculous anecdotal stories about completely unrelated issues used to cloud and confuse the issue. Great.

Chuck. I want my money back. Seriously. Now.

    hi,
Did you do your research on Lares? What did you get? Did you buy it?

    Svetlana,
Great question why don’t you go to David’s Web site to see what he bought

    http://www.plainvilledentist.com/hitech_dentistry.html

I too looked at the Lares and after careful consideration the Periolase won hands down.  Ask the rep if they can perform LANAP and if they have FDA clearance to perform LANAP.  Let us know what they tell you.

    Thanks

Guys, I don’t think you’ll see Chuck T back here.
I sent him the following on June 2nd-

    Hi Chuck,
I received your complaint that was sent to the moderator and while I may not have used the same tone as some of the posters you have not indicated in anyway that you will try and help them solve their complaints about IPS. I believe if you do so (even if IPS has done everything correctly) it will do more to help with IPS’s online image and result in toned down posts.

Why not ask the posters for a specific case they had difficulty with and walk them thru it in the forum? It would allow others to see you’re here for more than a sales pitch and also may help others to learn the proper submission procedures or where the most common errors occur.
Hope that helps as I always intended LDF to be more of a university type setting rather than a bar room like Dental Town.

His response- please remove ChuckT from blog
followed by a PM, which if he permits I will share.

Obviously in the states these procedures have to be approved for use, but yes LANAP procedures can be carried out no problem, I also had a look at the LANAP video on David’s Web site…very impressive….BUT you can also remove the hard concrements with the laser, so without the use of the scaler!!

Have a look at our presso on its applications,….we are in fact a the UK dealer for Fotona, which are the manufacturer of the Powerlase.

    Hi all,
I was approached with the idea of starting a new forum on LDF which would deal with MID (minimally invasive dentistry). The proposal included and offer by someone to serve as moderator. Before asking for such a commitment from this person, I’d like to gauge the amount of interest and if it would be worth pursuing.
    Thoughts?

    Ron,
Is this topic hard tissue? Cases for Treatment of caries using MID or just a Diagnodent forum?
Cases and how different clinicians treat patients would be worthwhile (AA, Laser, etc)
I see no need for a diagnodent ad or trading treatment numbers.
Need to know what new forum would deal with.
    Jeff
